HOW TO LIGHT A MATCH:

Grasp the match firmly at its midpoint with your index finger and thumb. Place the match head onto the raw clay and confidently apply swift and firm outward pressure. Once the flame is out, flip the match over and place it back into the holder. 

Always use caution and respect when working with fire. The match striker and matches are not a toy, keep them away from children at all times.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR MATCH STRIKER:

Over time, the match striker will show leftover marks from where matches have been struck. To clean, place it in the dishwasher, although hand-washing with soap and warm water can be more effective. 

For optimal strikability, store matches away from humidity.
